The North Plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery (pictured at top) transforms into an outdoor marketplace during the weekend of June 11th and 12th, 2022 for Japan Market where food trucks and vendors will serve up Japanese treats as well as handicrafts from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.

A five dollar admission per adult is required to enter Japan Market (which is available online) which will provide access to food trucks from well known eateries like Japadog, Takenaka, and Tokyo Katsu-sand next to other local establishments and artisan booths.

Dress appropriately as the weather this month has been quite unpredictable — the market is open rain or shine. Japan Market is in the plaza on the north side of the Vancouver Art Gallery on Georgia Street bounded by Hornby Street and Howe Street. Transit is the best bet as the venue is within a five-minute walk from the Granville Station on the Expo Line and Vancouver City Centre Station on the Canada Line.
