A new trailer for the upcoming Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War was shown this evening at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California.
The Thousand-Year Blood War animates the gripping end to Bleach, with the Soul Society under siege by Yhwach, the forebear of the Quincies, as he attempts to eradicate all Soul Reapers.
Staff who worked on the original anime run have returned, including character designer Masashi Kudo and composer Shiro Sagisu. Tomohisa Tagushi is directing this new series with animation by Studio Pierrot.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will begin broadcasting in October 2022.
