It’s now officially confirmed, One Piece Film: Red will premiere in Canadian and US theatres on Friday, November 4th, 2022 according to a social media post by Toei Animation.

Toei Animation’s English Twitter account announced the film is scheduled for November 4th in Canada and the United States and November 3rd for Australia and New Zealand in both English and Japanese with English subtitles.

In Canada, fans can watch the high seas action at Cineplex and Landmark Cinema locations nationwide in November.

We now know that One Piece Film: Red will premiere in theaters across Canada and the United States this October thanks to a video appearance by the captain of the Straw Hats, Monkey D. Luffy.

This evening, the University of Southern California Marching Band pumped up the crowds at a college football match between the USC Trojans and the Rice Owls with renditions of the opening numbers to One Piece “We Are” and “Over the Top,” alongside the theme song to One Piece Film: Red “New Genesis.”

A clip of Luffy, along with the date, was shared on social media by Toei Animation. A specific day for the premiere was not mentioned in the video.

Uta is a world-famous singer — her voice is as enigmatic as that of her appearance while on stage in that no one knows what she looks like! Uta plans to unveil herself in front of a packed concert and many pirates, along with the Navy, are in attendance to experience this amazing event. Despite all this buzz around her appearance, Uta is supposedly the daughter of legendary captain Red-Haired Shanks…

In Japan, One Piece Film: Red has taken the country by storm since opening on August 6th, 2022 with it taking in a buccaneer’s wildest dream of over ¥12 billion JPY according to the official One Piece Twitter account.

Crunchyroll is handling the distribution of One Piece Film: Red for Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
