Makoto Shinkai’s latest animated movie titled Suzume is coming to Cineplex, Landmark Cinema and Cinémas Guzzo locations across Canada on Friday, April 14th, 2023. The movie is being presented by anime streaming giant Crunchyroll.

Suzume Iwato is just your average 17-year-old student, but when a stranger enlists her help to find a door on her home island of Kyushu, everything changes. Random doors around Japan become portals where chaos seeps into the world and it’s up to Suzume who must shut them at all costs.

The theatre chains will show the film in its original Japanese audio with English subtitles as well as dubbed in English.
