Musical line-up for 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards announced

After a record-breaking 51 million votes were cast during the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, Crunchyroll has revealed LiSA, Creepy Nuts and FLOW are set to perform at the awards ceremony on Sunday, May 25th, 2025.

Fans will recognize the tunes from some of anime’s most popular shows.

Singer-songwriter LiSA, known for her hit “Gurenge” which kicked off the first season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Since her debut in 2011, LiSA’s music has appeared in Sword Art Online, The Irregular at Magic High School, and Solo Leveling, to name a few.

Creepy Nuts, the hip-hop duo behind “Otonoke” and “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born,” used to open DAN DA DAN and Mashle: Magic and Muscles respectively. Comprised of rapper R-Shitei and DJ Matsunaga, their 2021 debut album Case was a hit in Japan setting the group up for success.

Rock group FLOW, famous for their appearances in Naruto, will commemorate the 20th anniversary of Eureka Seven with a performance of “DAYS.” Made up of vocalists KOHSHI and KEIGO, guitarist TAKE, bassist GOT’S, and drummer IWASAKI, FLOW got their start in 2003. Their popularity has seen the band tour the world through energetic concerts.

Joining the musical guests as presenters during the pre-show and ceremony are celebrities J Balvin, Kacey Musgraves and Zak Penn.

The 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards kicks off at 5:00 pm JST (1:00 am PDT / 4:00 am EDT) with the pre-show followed by the ceremony at 6:00 pm JST (2:00 am PDT / 5:00 am EDT). Tune into the festivities on Crunchyroll’s Twitch and YouTube channels, which will stream worldwide, in English, Arabic, Brazilian-Portuguese, Castillian-Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, and Latin American-Spanish.

An annual celebration of anime, the awards recognize the creators, musicians, and voice cast of shows. Fans worldwide are encouraged to pick their favourite series, songs, voice actors and actresses, the results of which are revealed at a star-studded event in Tokyo, Japan.
