At its Industry Panel during Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles this past weekend, Crunchyroll unveiled several new series set to premiere on its streaming platform.
Black Clover last aired in 2021, so it’s welcome news for fans that the anime is resuming. Fullmetal Alchemist and Silver Spoon creator Hirmou Arakwa has her latest work getting the anime treatment — Daemons of the Shadow Realm is coming exclusively to Crunchyroll. Additional shows include season three of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation and Classroom of the Elite, Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider, and You and I Are Polar Opposites.
Black Clover
After years of waiting, a new season of Black Clover is in production from animation studio Pierrot. A trailer, key visual and special message from series creator Yuki Tabata were shown during the panel.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm
Masahiko Minami, president of bones film, appeared on stage to announce Daemons of the Shadow Realm, an anime adaptation of the manga by Hiromu Arakawa. Masahiro Ando will direct this new series, which is described as “an otherworldly fantasy where mystery and the uncanny intertwine.”

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-
Yusuke Kobayashi, who voices Subaru Natsuki in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, announced that the anime will return for a fourth season, slated to stream exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2026. Masahiro Shinohara, director of the third season, will reprise his role for the upcoming installment.

A teaser trailer for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation offered a deeper look into the upcoming third season. Confirmed for 2026, Ryosuke Shibuya will continue as director, with character designers Sanae Shimada and Ryota Furukawa, and musical composer Yoshiaki Fujisawa, with animation production by Studio Bind.

Classroom of the Elite
A third season of Classroom of the Elite is coming to Crunchyroll, but before then, Mega and Ultimate Fan tier members can play Classroom of the Elite – Merge Puzzle Spacial Exam – on the Crunchyroll Game Vault. It is the first time the game is playable outside of Japan and does not contain any microtransactions, ads, or in-app purchases.

Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider
Action comedy series Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider will premiere on Crunchyroll in October 2025. Directed by Takahiro Ikezoe, it features a series composition written by Toko Machida, music by TeddyLoid and animation production by LIDENFILMS.

You and I Are Polar Opposites
You and I Are Polar Opposites will premiere in January 2026. Adapted from the manga by Kocha Agasawa, the anime is directed by Takayoshi Nagatomo, with series composition by Teruko Utsumi, with production by Lapin Track.
