The spirit of the Grand Line comes to Dodger Stadium! On July 3rd, 2025, the Dodgers team up with the Straw Crew to honor ONE PIECE in a high-seas-inspired clash against the visiting White Sox.
Attendees of the game were treated to Dodgers-branded straw hats, a limited-edition Monkey D. Luffy card for the ONE PIECE CARD GAME and an after-game drone show. Luffy even appeared on the big screen encouraging the audience to “make some noise” for the home team.
Actress Emily Rudd, who appears as Nami in the Netflix live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE, threw the ceremonial first pitch.
As part of an ongoing series of anime-themed events, Major League Baseball franchises such as the San Francisco Giants and Texas Rangers are spotlighting titles like Naruto and My Hero Academia, respectively.
The Dodgers went on to defeat the White Sox 6 – 2.
