All eyes were on the Big Apple for New York Comic Con as a number of big announcements in the world of anime were made. Crunchyroll dropped a few, highlighting new acquisitions for its streaming service as well as an upcoming theatrical release.
A worldwide phenomenon, 【OSHI NO KO】, is appearing on Crunchyroll for the first time, starting with the third season.
Crunchyroll describes the series as:

Also shown was the first trailer for Daemons of the Shadow Realm, an adaptation of the manga by Hiromu Arakawa. It is scheduled to premiere sometime in April 2026.

A new film from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is slated to land in North American cinemas in the near future. From studio 8-Bit, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea delivers a stand-alone Rimuru adventure. Further details are expected at a later date.
A synopsis supplied by Crunchyroll outlines the film’s plot:
After concluding the opening ceremony of the Demon Kingdom Federation Tempest, Rimuru and his companions are invited by the Celestial Emperor Hermesia of the great elven nation – the Magi Dynasty Salion – to visit her private resort island. As the group enjoys their brief vacation, a mysterious woman named Yura appears. A new incident unfolds against the backdrop of the boundless azure sea.
【OSHI NO KO】 season three and Daemons of the Shadow Realm are joining a handful of new and returning series including A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation, Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter, Kunon the Sorcerer Can See, The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer, A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special season two, and The Beginning After the End season two.
