A third season of JUJUTSU KAISEN set to premiere on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, and will stream globally on Crunchyroll outside of Asia, according to a post on social media by Sony.
Accompanying the announcement is a new key visual with Yuta Okkotsu locked in a fierce struggle with Yuji Itadori.

The upcoming season adapts the Culling Game arc from the JUJUTSU KAISEN manga by Gege Akutami. Shota Goshozono returns to serve as director, with character designers Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa, music composer Yoshimasa Terui, and with animation production by MAPPA.
A sneak peak of the first two episodes of The Culling Game is being offered through the theatrical release of JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution next month.
Sony is the parent company of Crunchyroll, which owns it through a joint partnership between U.S.-based Sony Pictures Entertainment and Aniplex in Japan.
Written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, JUJUTSU KAISEN was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between March 5th, 2018, and September 30th, 2024. In North America, VIZ Media distributed the English-translated edition in both print and digital formats. An anime adaptation by MAPPA was broadcast between October 3rd, 2020, and December 28th, 2023, with a third season slated for January 2026. A prequel film, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, was released on December 21st, 2021.
