LUPIN THE IIIRD: The Movie - The Immortal Bloodline

New Lupin the IIIrd movie announced for Canadian theatres in January 2026

Get ready for an adventure! Lupin III returns to the big screens in an all new adventure starting Friday, January 9th, 2026! GKIDS is distributing LUPIN THE IIIRD: The Movie – The Immortal Bloodline to theatres across North America.

Canadian theatre chains Cineplex and Landmark Cinemas are offering the film in subbed and dubbed formats.

Appearing in the film are Kanichi Kurita as the voice of Lupin III, Akio Otsuka as the voice of Daisuke Jigen, Daisuke Namikawa as the voice of Goemon Ishikawa, Miyuki Sawashiro as the voice of Fujiko Mine, and Koichi Yamadera as the voice of Inspector Zenigata.

The English cast includes Keith Silverstein as the voice of Lupin III, Dan Woren as the voice of Daisuke Jigen, Lex Lang as the voice of Goemon Ishikawa, Cristina Vee as the voice of Fujiko Mine, and Richard Epcar as the voice of Inspector Zenigata.

GKIDS posted a synopsis of LUPIN THE IIIRD: The Movie – The Immortal Bloodline to their website:

After fending off a series of skilled assassins, gentleman thief Lupin III and his band of allies follow a strange invitation to an uncharted island. When their plane is shot down, the gang is stranded and soon hunted by the island’s inhabitants, past enemies, and a monstrous immortal being known as Muom, who threatens to destroy Lupin’s legacy. As a deadly toxic fog settles over them, Lupin must confront his greatest enemy in his most daring escapade yet.

LUPIN THE IIIRD: The Movie – The Immortal Bloodline premiered in Japanese theatres on June 27th, 2025 and was directed by Takeshi Koike, with a screenplay written by Yuya Takahashi, music composition by James Shimoji, creative advisor Katsuhito Ishii, animation production by Telecom Animation Film and production by TMS Entertainment Co. Ltd.
