To encourage responsible travel for revelers, TransLink is once again providing free service on SkyTrain, SeaBus, West Coast Express, and bus routes throughout Metro Vancouver. Fares are waived starting at 5:00 pm PST on Wednesday, December 31st, 2025, until 5:00 am PST Thursday, January 1st, 2026.
All transit services will operate on an extended weekday schedule with an extra hour added to accommodate late-night party goers.
SkyTrain
Expo Line
- Last train leaves Waterfront towards King George at 2:16 am
- Last train leaves Waterfront towards Lougheed Town Centre at 2:11 am
- Last train leaves Waterfront towards Production Way-University at 1:40 am
Millennium Line
- Last train leaves VCC-Clark towards Lafarge Lake-Douglas at 2:22 am
- Last train leaves Lafarge Lake-Douglas towards VCC-Clark at 1:58 am
Canada Line
- Last train leaves Waterfront towards YVR-Airport Station at 2:05 am
- Last train leaves Waterfront towards Richmond-Brighouse at 2:15 am
- Last train leaves Richmond-Brighouse towards Waterfront at 1:46 am
- Last train leaves YVR-Airport Station towards Waterfront at 1:54 am
Bus
An additional 52 buses are being added to increase frequency on select routes
SeaBus
- 15 minute service until 1:22 am between Waterfront and Lonsdale.
- 30 minute service until 2:22 am (final sailing)
West Coast Express
Trains depart at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:20 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:20 pm
On Thursday, January 1st, 2025, SkyTrain, SeaBus and bus service will follow their Sunday/holiday schedule which runs later and on a reduced timetable. West Coast Express will not operate.
TransLink’s Customer Service Centre, Access Transit Customer Care Office and Lost Property Office will remain open, with the Lost Property Office closing early at 2:00 pm. All offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1st, 2026.
