Rudo’s quest continues with news of a second season being green lit for Gachiakuta according to the series’ social media account.
Additional details, such as a premiere date, were not provided.

Creator Kei Urana drew a special illustration for the announcement, where Rudo, Zanka, Enjin, and Riyo sprinting ahead of a speeding truck.

Hideyoshi Andou, the graffiti artist who works with Kei Urana on the manga, also shared a drawing in celebrating the announcement.
Gachiakuta, produced by Bones Film, was heavily promoted by Crunchyroll earlier this year, streams exclusively on their platform. Part one of its first season premiered on July 6th, 2025, followed by a second cour on October 12th, 2025.
Crunchyroll describes Gachiakuta as:
In a floating city where the rich discard their waste—and people—Rudo is framed for murder and thrown into the Pit, where a hellscape of mutated trash beasts dwell. To survive, he must wield a new power and join the Cleaners. Rudo doesn’t just aim to battle monsters, but the corrupt who cast him into Hell.
Gachiakuta, written and illustrated by Kei Urana with graffiti by Hideyoshi Andou, debuted February 16th, 2022, in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, with Kodansha USA handling the English-language release in both print and digital formats for readers across North America.
