A reboot of the World Trigger anime is coming, according to the series’ social media account. A new website, key visual, and brief trailer were revealed in the announcement.
Toei Animation produced three seasons of the anime: the first aired from October 5th, 2014, to April 3rd, 2016; the second from January 10th to April 4th, 2021; and the third from October 10th, 2021, to January 23rd, 2022.

Further details, including a broadcast date, were not mentioned.
VIZ Media, the North American publisher of the English-translated version, describes World Trigger as:
Destroy thy Neighbor! A gate to another dimension has burst open, and invincible monsters called Neighbors invade Earth. Osamu Mikumo may not be the best among the elite warriors who co-opt other-dimensional technology to fight back, but along with his Neighbor friend Yuma, he’ll do whatever it takes to defend life on Earth as we know it.
Written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara, World Trigger was initially serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump February 9th, 2013, to November 26th, 2018, before switching to Jump Square in December 4th, 2018, where it remains today. In North America, VIZ Media publishes the English-translated editions in print and digital formats. The original three animated seasons are offered on Crunchyroll.
