More cherry blossoms!

After what seemed like an eternity of rain, the sun finally made a much needed appearance here in southwestern British Columbia. And with perfect timing in the midst of prime cherry blossom season.

Cherry trees are in full bloom across Metro Vancouver, with several groves in Devonian Harbour Park and at the entrance to Stanley Park. Of course, I wasn’t the only one out snapping photos, but here are a few of my favourites.

All photos were taken using a Nikon D610 camera with a AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR lens.

If you’re looking for a tree or two in your neighbourhood, check out the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Finder.
