A film trilogy closing out the hit Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series is scheduled for a theatrical release starting this year. Since being confirmed last year, the only date provided in official media is “2025.”

The official account on Twitter/X has announced the Japanese release date of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle is being revealed on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at 7:00 pm JST (that’s 2:00 am PST / 5:00 am EST Saturday morning for fans here in North America).
The announcement will be made by a “squad gathering,” likely that of the key voice actors appearing in the show, and introduce other special events coinciding with the theatrical release.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle adapts the final arc of the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge. In it, Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps finally face off against the demon king himself, Muzan Kibutsuji, inside his labyrinthine lair — the Infinity Castle.
An international release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle is expected, however, these details are not yet known except that Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will handle distribution.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between February 15th, 2016 and May 18th, 2020; in North America, Viz Media publishes the manga in print and digital formats. The anime premiered on April 6th, 2019; Crunchyroll is licensed to stream the series globally outside of Asia.
