LEGO x The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Nintendo teases another The Legend of Zelda LEGO set

A 12-second clip uploaded to Twitter/X by Nintendo of America reveals there’s yet another The Legend of Zelda themed LEGO set on the way, but not until next year.

Link, the Hero of Time, raises his Hylian Shield and Master Sword to protect Princess Zelda in the ruins of Ganon’s Castle, as a shadow of the beast Ganon himself grows ever larger over them. At the end, 2026 is shown as a launch date.

The scene is familiar to many Zelda fans; it was the climax of the hit Nintendo 64 title The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from 1998.

No additional details of the upcoming LEGO kit were made available.

In 2024, LEGO released a model set based on the Great Deku Tree, allowing fans to build a version that appeared either in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Comprised of 2,500 bricks, it included four minifigures, three of which are Link in both ages from Ocarina of Time, his form in Breath of the Wild, and Princess Zelda from Breath of the Wild.

The Japan-based video game powerhouse forged a partnership with the Danish toy company in 2020, first producing a line-up of sets from Nintendo’s popular Super Mario Bros. series.

The Legend of Zelda is an action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo for its family of entertainment systems. Its most recent mainline release, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch, set the bar for becoming the fastest selling title in its series back in 2023.
