This 2-in-1 LEGO set allows builders to recreate an iconic location in these two legendary video games. For The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, minifigures of young Link and adult Link can fight off Deku Babas, chat with the Deku Tree Sprout, consult a Gossip Stone, face-off against a Giant Skulltula, and explore Link’s treehouse. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, minifigures of Link and Princess Zelda can bring Korok seeds to Hestu, cook up a storm, or wander with the Koroks.
Each of the minifigures come with their own accessories: slingshot, Kokiri Sword, Kokiri Shield, hookshot, Ocarina of Time, Sheikah Slate, Traveler’s Broadsword, Traveler’s Shield, Master Sword and Hylian Shield.
Fully assembled, the Great Deku Tree stands at 33 cm in height and 35 cm in width for Ocarina of Time configuration or at 31 cm in height and 39 cm in width for the Breath of the Wild configuration.
In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, players are introduced to the Great Deku Tree early on, learning of its role in Hyrule’s and guardianship over Kokiri Forest. It also serves as the first dungeon Link can explore, where it has been poisoned by Gohma, a parasitic armored arachnid.
The Great Deku Tree reprises its venerated position in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, towering over the misty depths of the Great Hyrule Forest and harbouring an item Link needs to defeat the darkness with.
The Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 has a suggested retail price of $389.99 CAD and releases in Canada on September 1st, 2024.
