A second season of anime The Promised Neverland is scheduled to air on Japanese television on January 7th, 2021.
Although planned for this year, the follow-up to the popular anime adaptation of the manga by Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu was pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
A post on Twitter confirms that this new season of The Promised Neverland will broadcast Thursday on Fuji TV starting January 7th, 2021. A short 15-second teaser was included in the tweet, along with a link to a video YouTube which is restricted to viewers only in Japan.
The first season of The Promised Neverland is available on streaming services from Funimation and Crunchyroll.
