Chase those gaming blues away with the latest addition to the Nintendo Switch Lite line-up. Announced this morning, the Japanese gaming company as added the new colour, joining coral, yellow, gray and turquoise, for their portable console family.
While other sites are debating over the name and the hue, the console is still functionally the same. It does not include detachable Joy Con controllers, can’t be docked for play on televisions, is much lighter in weight and has smaller dimensions than the original Switch. However, it’s fully compatible with all Nintendo Switch titles that play in handheld mode (which is nearly all of them).
This indigo Nintendo Switch Lite launches on May 21st, 2021 with a suggested retail price of $199.99 USD, or $259.99 CAD in Canada.
Also releasing on the same date as the console is the adventure game Miitopia, which is similar to mini-games that appeared on the Nintendo 3DS console family. Create miniaturized versions of yourself to join friends or family in a fun-filled journey to defeat the face-stealing Dark Lord.
