Even though My Hero Academia concluded with 170 episodes last December, a special episode is scheduled for release on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026.
Titled “More,” the episode explores the lives of the heroes eight years after the events of the finale.

The episode is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 5:30 pm JST (1:30 am PDT / 4:30 am EDT) on Japanese television and streaming services.
Adapted from Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, My Hero Academia was animated by Bones. The series premiered on April 3rd, 2016, and concluded on December 13th, 2025, spanning 170 episodes across eight seasons. A prequel series, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, aired in two seasons — the first in 2025, followed by the second in 2026.
