Blue Exorcist to get new anime series

A new anime series for Kazue Kato’s manga Blue Exorcist was announced during Jump Festa 2023 this past weekend with a short trailer featuring artwork of the Okumura brothers Rin and Yukio.

Voice actors Nobuhiko Okamoto (Rin Okumura), Jun Fukuyama (Yukio Okumura), Kana Hanazawa (Shiemi Moriyama), and Eri Kitamura (Izumo Kamiki) were on stage to break the news. This is the third anime to cover the manga — the first aired in 2011 followed by the Kyoto Saga in 2017.

No details further details of the series were made available, except to watch the show’s web site and social media channels for information.
