Vancouver to host seven games for 2026 World Cup

Although it’s still two years away, a tentative schedule for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is now available, revealing the number of games planned for Vancouver.

BC Place Stadium (pictured at top) will host seven games during the tournament, the majority of which are group stage matches, with one round of 32 and round of 16 match. No finals matches are scheduled for Vancouver, or Toronto, the only other Canadian city in the circuit.

  • Saturday, June 13th, 2026
  • Thursday, June 18th, 2026
  • Sunday, June 21st, 2026
  • Wednesday, June 24th, 2026
  • Friday, June 26th, 2026
  • Thursday, July 2th, 2026
  • Tuesday, July 7th, 2026

It is not yet known which teams are playing on the aforementioned dates.

Team Canada’s first game is at Toronto’s BMO Field on Friday, June 12th, 2026.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place in multiple cities across Canada, the United States and Mexico, starting on June 11th, 2026. The final is planned for Sunday, July 19th, 2026. Unable to score tickets to any of the games? CTV and TSN are the only licensed broadcasters for Canada.
