Following the conclusion of DAN DA DAN episode 12, it was confirmed that a second season of the hit anime is scheduled to land on Crunchyroll in July 2025.
A key visual for the upcoming season features the Evil Eye, fixated on Jiji, while Okarun, Momo, and Turbo Granny try to escape its gaze. Surrounding them are portraits of prominent classical composers and a lone kaiju, an ominous premonition of the craziness to come.

DAN DA DAN follows Momo, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult geek. The two of them started talking after Momo rescued Okarun from getting bullied. However, an argument ensues between them – Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts. To make each other believe in what they denied the existence of, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital known for its UFO sightings, and Okarun goes to a tunnel that is said to be haunted. In each place, they encounter overwhelming paranormal entities that defy comprehension. Amid trouble, Momo awakens her hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse to challenge the paranormal entities! Could this be the start of a fateful romance as well!?
Now begins a new story of occult battles and adolescence!
DAN DA DAN is directed by Fuga Yamashiro, with script writing by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Naoyuki Onda, creature designs by Yoshimichi Kameda, music composition by kensuke ushio, and animation production by Science SARU.
DAN DA DAN started serialization in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ on April 6th, 2021, where it has accumulated over 370 million views, followed by 3.2 million printed copies; Viz Media handles the English-translated edition in North America. The DAN DA DAN anime premiered on October 4th, 2024 and currently streams on Crunchyroll here in Canada.
