Celebrating ten years of anime conventions in Vancouver, Anime Evolution is returning for its first three-day weekend event. Last year saw the convention only for Saturday and Sunday in early November back at Simon Fraser University.
This year, Anime Evolution is back with an all-star guest line up. Voice actors including Bryce Papenbrook (Sword Art Online, Blue Exorcist and Durarara), Dante Basco (Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra), Yuri Lowenthal (Naruto, Code Geass and Tiger & Bunny), Tara Platt (Naruto, Tiger & Bunny and Fate/Stay Night), Jād Saxton (Sasami: Magical Girls Club, Ghost Hunt and Baccano!) and Lee Tockar (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Beast Wars and X-Men). Of course, there’s also Yaya Han, an acclaimed costume designer and everybody’s favourite parody group, Team Fourstar.
Anime Evolution runs the Canada Day long weekend from Friday, June 28th until Sunday, June 30th, 2013 at the University of British Columbia’s Student Union Building and Student Recreation Centre. Online registration has ended, but passes can be purchased onsite during the weekend.
