Sony has shared quite a bit of information surrounding the technical specifications of the upcoming PlayStation 5 console and DualSense controller, but little regarding titles for its future platform.

On Thursday, June 11th, 2020 at 1:00 pm PDT (4:00 pm EDT), Sony will host an hour-plus long video streaming event called The Future of Gaming to give a look at the software coming to the PS5 when it launches during the 2020 holiday season.

No details on which developers or projects are planned were mentioned in a post to PlayStation.Blog announcing this event. The post did mention it would include “[s]tudios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established.”

The Future of Gaming will be viewable on Twitch and YouTube, or on the PlayStation web site.

Editor’s note:
The PS5 event was rescheduled to Thursday, June 11th. Sony has made the decision that it would not be right to hold such a celebration as originally planned due to global events.
