Today, Yen Press revealed they are releasing a digital version of the light novel The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya on November 25th, 2020 coinciding with the Japanese launch, with a printed edition coming at a later date.
Written by Nagaru Tanigawa, The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya includes illustrations by Noizi Ito. Andrew Cunningham will translate the light novel into English.
Additionally, Yen Press is reprinting the existing editions of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya under their Yen On brand, with release dates being announced later. The first volume of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was printed in 2009.
The success of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has seen the series in various formats including an anime in 2007 by Kyoto Animation and distributed by Bandai Entertainment, and manga first published in North America by Yen Press in 2008.
