Springtime in Stanley Park

Okay, well still only nine days to go before the actual start of Spring, but the beautiful mild weather was a good excuse to get up and stretch my legs in the crown jewel that is Stanley Park.

Plenty of feathered (and furry) creatures were out and about, minus coyotes (thankfully). Even a great blue heron kept its feet cool in the tranquil waters of Lost Lagoon long enough for a few good photos.

All pictures were taken with my Nikon D610 DSLR and 55-300mm zoom lens, with the ISO set to 100 and varying f-stops depending lightning and focal distance.
