Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, the follow-up anime to Inuyasha, is returning this fall with a second season, according to a post made on Monday to series’ official Japanese Twitter account.
Translated from Japanese, the tweet reads: “Second season of the TV anime Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. The decision is to start broadcasting in the Fall of 2021. Stay tuned for more news.”
Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is the sequel to Inuyasha; mangaka Rumiko Takahashi has returned to design the characters in this new anime which will focus on the children of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Moroha, Towa and Setsuna journey to reunite with each other after being separated by the same time-travelling portal that divided the half-demon Inuyasha and modern student Kagome.
Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is currently available on streaming services offered by Funimation and Crunchyroll.
