Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc announced

Production on the next series of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is underway with the announcement today of the Swordsmith Village Arc as the next chapter in the anime adaption of the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge.

Artwork of the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji was included in the announcement. It’s likely they will play central roles in the Swordsmith Village Arc as the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui did in the Entertainment District Arc.

Haruo Sotozaki will direct The Swordsmith Village Arc, with character designs by Akira Matsushima and animation production by ufotable.

Natsuki Hanae will reprise his role as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kito as Nezuko Kamado, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira, Kengo Kawanishi as Muichiro Tokito, and Kana Hanazawa as Mutsuri Kanroji.

The final episode for the Entertainment District Arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba aired today, February 13th, 2022.

It’s not known when the Swordsmith Village Arc will debut.
