Grab your helmets, a fifth season of Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK takes to the pavement on October 9th, 2022 according to a post shared on Twitter.
The unassuming Sakamichi Onoda regularly rides his trusty mommy bike from his small town into the bustling Akihabara district to purchase the latest anime goods. Sakamichi’s weekly rides catch the attention of his competitive classmate Shunsuke Imaizumi who is shocked at how effortless Sakamichi pedals up an arduous incline with his bulky bike. Eventually Sakamichi is courted by Shunsuke and Shoukichi Naruko to join the school’s cycling club as they enter races against rival schools to demonstrate how good Sohoku really is.
Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK will broadcast at October 9th, 2022 at 12:00 am JST on NHK General TV. Previous seasons of Yowamushi Pedal were streamed globally on Crunchyroll and it’s likely the fifth season will wind up on their platform. More details are expected closer to the October broadcast date.
