Tokyo to host Crunchyroll Anime Awards on March 2, 2024

Following a successful star-studded showing of the best Japanese animation has to offer this year, Crunchyroll has revealed they are bringing the Crunchyroll Anime Awards back to Tokyo on March 2nd, 2024.

Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira will return to host the evening gala at the Hotel Shin Takanawa to celebrate the creators, artists, musicians, and performers of the medium. Sally Amaki is involved with the digital voice actor idol project 22/7 Nanabun no Nijuni; Jon Kabira is a well-seasoned presenter in radio, music, sports and television in Japan.

During the week voting was open for 2023, fans from over 200 countries cast 18 million votes across 30 animation studios, eight streaming platforms, over 50 voice actors alongside an equal amount of shows and films, according to the press release from Crunchyroll.
