Crunchyroll premium subscribers can play free games in new app

Anime fans who hold membership with Crunchyroll’s top tier plans now gain complimentary access to the Crunchyroll Game Vault for an increasing selection of mobile games to gamers in over 200 countries.

Those with with Crunchyroll Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan subscriber plans can download the five launch titles: Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions, River City Girls, Wolfstride, Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery, and inbento.

Crunchyroll plans to use the Game Vault app as a vehicle to deliver new games and content from international developers. Crunchyroll already has an internal game studio that has created mobile free-to-play titles based on popular franchises like Street Fighter: Duel, My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero, and the upcoming One Punch Man: World

All three tiers contain no advertisements and have unlimited access to a streaming library packed with over 24,000 hours of entertainment.

Crunchyroll Game Vault is currently available on Android, with support for Apple iOS devices releasing soon.
