Drivers can purchase parking in 15-minute, 30-minute or one hour increments from parking meters or using mobile apps PayByPhone, Honk Mobile, ParkMobile, and ZipBy.

Currently, visitors can park their vehicles for free before paid parking takes effect at 11:00 am, seven days a week. Current prices are $2.00 CAD an hour Monday-Friday, $3.00 CAD on Saturday-Sunday, all between the hours of 11:00 am-6:00 pm.

There are plenty of alternate ways to see Granville Island that don’t require a car. TransLink’s 50 bus stops at West 2nd Avenue and Anderson Street, right at the entrance. Take advantage of the a nice stroll along the seawall (locals wear jackets when the weather is inclement), or hop on the False Creek Ferries or AquaBus that ply the waters of False Creek.
