My Hero Academia: You're Next

My Hero Academia: You’re Next explodes into Canadian theatres on October 11

The fourth film from the hit anime series My Hero Academia, titled My Hero Academia: You’re Next, is coming to theatres across North America starting Friday, October 11th, 2024 according to the movie’s English social media account.

Although it’s not confirmed, based on previous releases, it’s likely that Cineplex and Landmark Cinemas will show the movie. Details confirming participating cinema chains are expected leading up to the October premiere. Also, it’s predicted these chains will offer the movie both in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dubbed version. Keep checking back for the latest information.

My Hero Academia: The Movie: You’re Next features original work, character designs and supervision by My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi, alongside director Tensai Okamura, screenwriter Yosuke Kuroda, character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, music composer Yuki Hayashi, animation advisor Kenji Nagasaki and with animation production by Bones.

The vocal cast from the anime will reprise their character’s respective roles: Daiki Yamashita Izuku Midoriya, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Katsuki Bakugo, Ayane Sakura as Ochaco Uraraka, Kaito Ishikawa as Tenya Iida, and Yuki Kaji as Shoto Todoroki. Also starring are Kenta Miyake as Dark Might, Mamoru Miyano as Giulio Gandini, and Meru Nukumi as Anna Scervino.

My Hero Academia: The Movie: You’re Next is scheduled to premiere in Japanese cinemas on Friday, August 2nd, 2024.
