Dandelion

Hideaki Sorachi’s Dandelion streams on Netflix in April

Before Gintama, there was Dandelion, a one-shot written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi in 2002. Now, Netflix is exclusively bringing this light-hearted adventure to its streaming service this April.

Angels Tetsuo Tanba and Misaki Kurogane are members of the Send-Off Department within the Japanese Angel Federation. Their task is to locate lost Earthbound spirits and lead them on to the other side. Facing pressure from the higher-ups within the Federation, Tetsu and Misaki instead spend their time working with these wayward souls to guide them onward.

Tetsuo Tanba is voiced by Chikahiro Kobayashi, and Misaki Kurogane by Megumi Han.

Dandelion appeared in the first volume of Gintama, which is published by VIZ Media in digital and print formats.
