Witch Hat Atelier set to premiere on April 6 with two-episode special

As a title on Crunchyroll’s Spring slate, Witch Hat Atelier is one of the most anticipated shows of the season. And the streaming service has fans ready with a special two-episode premiere at 7:00 am PDT (10:00 am EDT) on Tuesday, April 6th, 2026.

If that’s not enough, the English dub is also dropping same day and time.

Staff on Witch Hat Atelier include director Ayumu Watanabe, assistant director Shun Shinohara, writer Hiroshi Seko, character designer Kairi Unabara, art director Ryota Goto, colour designer Naomi Nakano, and director of photography Tadashi Kitaoka, with music composed by Yuka Kitamura and animation production by BUG FILMS.

In addition to streaming the anime, Crunchyroll has produced the English dub, featuring ADR voice director Emily Fajardo, ADR producer Zach Bolton, ADR sound engineer Jeremy Woods, mix engineer Nathanael Harrison, and English script writer Ben Phillips.

Appearing in the English dub are Anjali Kunapaneni as the voice of Coco, Joshua A. Waters as the voice of Qifrey, Madeleine Morris as the voice of Agott, Sarah Wiedenheft as the voice of Tetia, Nerida Bronwen as the voice of Richeh, Reagan Murdock as the voice of Olruggio, Bryn Apprill as the voice of Brushbuddy, and Erin Nicole Lundquist as the voice of Iguin.

Additional dubs available include Latin American Spanish, Castilian Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Arabic.

Crunchyroll describes Witch Hat Atelier as:

In a world where only witches can cast magic, they must avoid being seen by ordinary people while casting. While Coco does her chores, she daydreams of becoming a witch. When a young witch named Qifrey visits her village, Coco uncovers the “absolute secret,” becomes Qifrey’s apprentice, and begins her studies. This is the story of children who encounter despair, yet reach out toward hope.

Witch Hat Atelier adapts the manga by Kamome Shirahama, which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine since July 16th, 2016. Kodansha USA publishes the English‑language edition in both print and digital formats.
