Almost halfway through what would’ve been the 2012-2013 season, the National Hockey League (NHL) released a statement today announcing the cancellation of games through January 14th, 2013.
Since October 11th, 2012, some 625 games have been cut from the schedule due to the ongoing dispute between the NHL and the National Hockey League Players Association over a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.
