Adding to the growing list of merchandise from the reboot of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, comes two new skateboard decks. A collaboration with FTC Tokyo, intheyellow and RADIO EVA, the decks are based on the first two movies: Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone and Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.

The designs are simple and crisp; outlines of the Eva units — almost something that you would want displayed indoors rather than the streets. The top side of the Evangelion: 1.0 board is painted red with the movie logo, while the bottom features Eva Unit 01 posing with an assault rifle over a white background. The same goes for the Evangelion: 2.0 deck; instead it’s painted orange on the top with a greyish illustration of Rei Ayanami up against Eva Unit 01 over a white background underneath. As these are the decks only, no additional hardware, such as truck, pads or wheels, are included.

Retail price of the decks are an astounding ¥13,440 JPY (or approximately $151.00 CAD). If you’re still interested, they can be purchased at FTC Tokyo’s store in Shibuya or online. Alternatively, you can grab some t-shirts with the same images if you’re not in the market for a new skateboard.
