The Mexican state of Baja California Sur came north in an afternoon of music, dancing, history and food as part of the Fiesta Mexico Independencia. While Mexico doesn’t celebrate their independence until September 16th, it was still an enjoyable event with colourful dresses, savoury tacos, strumming guitars and enthusiastic participation from the crowd under the sails of Canada Place.
