Nintendo has announced another playable name in the upcoming Hyrule Warriors game for the Wii U. The ultimate in evil, Ganondorf, the bane of all that is good, makes his appearance. Watch the Nintendo Direct video to learn more about the game dynamics, items and stages.
Ganondorf has received an updated costume design and is more imposing than before. With long crimson hair and a similar crown that he wore in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Ganondorf is sheathed in armour and wields two massive swords. As a bonus, Club Nintendo members who register their copy of Hyrule Warriors within four weeks of the game’s launch will have the opportunity to download additional in-game costumes for Ganondorf. Additional outfits include that from his form in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Playable characters so far announced in Hyrule Warriors are: Link, Zelda, Sheik, Impa, Midna, Agitha, Darunia, Princess Ruto, Fi, Zant, Ghirahim and Lana.
Hyrule Warriors is scheduled for release in North America on September 26th, 2014.
