
Anime streaming service Crunchyroll is once again giving us a peek behind the scenes at what shows are popular around the world.
With over 50 million registered users watching a library of more than a thousand titles, Crunchyroll is one of the world’s largest purveyors in anime.
For the first quarter of 2020, that’s January through March, Crunchyroll has released their viewership data for over 200 countries and territories globally.
The top ten countries streaming anime based on views per subscriber are:
- Uruguay
- India
- Peru
- Colombia
- Philippines
- Ecuador
- Italy
- El Salvador
- Poland
- Dominican Republic

On average, people spend 85 minutes in a day watching anime on the platform. Crunchyroll revealed the 20 most popular series, sorted alphabetically, based on views per subscriber. Bold text indicates a title new to the first quarter of 2020.
