This morning, it was revealed that a fifth season of My Hero Academia in the works. The anime is based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi.
Artwork of Izuku Midoriya was shared this morning on the series’ official web site and Instagram. The text over Deku says “NEW THING is AWAKING” with the word “THING” blacked out and overwritten with same phrase vertically in Japanese.
A brief, 15-second video was also shown, which included the same artwork as shared on both the web site and Instagram.
A date on when the fifth season of the My Hero Academia would begin airing was not provided.
