With most everyone staying indoors, the outside weather is turning beautiful, bringing the cherry trees across Metro Vancouver into full bloom. Even though the local events to celebrate the sakura are cancelled, the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival has brought the cherry blossom online with Virtual Tree Walks.
Virtual Tree Walks, a free online event, brings vibrant images of the flowering trees to the comfort of your own device. Accompanying these photographs are haiku, short Japanese poems, in admiration of these pink petals.
