During a Pokémon Presents video this morning, The Pokémon Company shared a teaser of the follow-up to the 1999 Nintendo 64 title Pokémon Snap called New Pokémon Snap. This latest title is being developed for the Nintendo Switch.

Like its predecessor, New Pokémon Snap is a rail shooter, where the player is on a set path that navigates through a picturesque tropical island teeming with wild Pokémon. The player uses a camera to snap pictures of the various creatures roaming the island’s fields, forests and beaches, gaining points for the elusiveness of certain Pokémon as well as different poses photographed.

Multiple generations of Pokémon were shown in the video: Blastoise, Scorbunny, Bouffalant, Wailmer, Primarina, Lapras, and of course, Pikachu.

Interestingly, Bandai Namco Studios is developing the game for the Nintendo Switch, though no tentative release date was mentioned.
