On the Lego web site, fans of the interlocking brick toy can submit ideas of building kits for consideration and to show off their design skills. Ichiraku Ramen, a small noodle shop in the Naruto world, is a miniaturized concept in Lego created by Spanish twin brothers DadiTwins.

Ichiraku Ramen is Naruto Uzumaki’s ultimate hang out. After a mission, or even when he needs to lift his spirits, he always has a seat at the counter, especially if someone else (Iruka) is covering his tab. The restaurant is named after its owner Teuchi Ichiraku, who dishes up steaming bowls of the soup loaded with toppings like chashu pork, nori seaweed, sliced boiled eggs, and naruto kamaboko (a type of processed fish cake).

Despite the small size this recreation is jam packed full of details more than a bowl of Ichiraku’s delicious ramen. On a 22×24 stud base plate, this idealized model includes some 1,600 pieces and seven minifigures: future hokage Naruto Uzumaki, rising ninja Sasuke Uchiha, the determined Sakura Haruno, Team 7 leader Kakashi Hatake, Naruto’s mentor Iruka Umino, ramen purveyor Teuchi Ichiraku and his wife Ayame. There’s also lots of little touches that bring this model: flags on the exterior flutter with emblems of the hidden villages: leaf, sand, grass and waterfall. There’s even various ingredients to the bowls served inside! Plus, each minifigure comes with a second facial expression and custom accessories: ninja scrolls, shuriken, kunai, Naruto’s frog coin purse, and a copy of Icha Icha Paradise.

In order for Lego to review the set and see that it meets their requirements (which will definitely include licensing approval and other legal aspects), the Ichiraku Ramen set needs to reach 10,000 votes within a specified time period. That number is quite close with 9,823 supporters (as of publishing) and 721 days remaining, it’s a very realistic and achievable goal. All you have to do is sign in using your Lego account (or register if you don’t have one) and click the “Support” button.

Let’s make this model of Ichiraku Ramen a reality for the Naruto manga’s 20th anniversary!
