The final Neon Genesis Evangelion film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time is scheduled to appear in Japanese theatres on January 23rd, 2021 with the release of a new teaser trailer today.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time was originally planned for June 27th, 2020 but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which saw many public places, such as theatres, closed down.
Posters and other promotional publications are being distributed to theatres across Japan which be displayed starting October 16th, 2020 according to a post on Natalie.
This is the final of four films in the reboot series from Studio khara.
