Crunchyroll Games has partnered with mobile game developer Cygames, and GREE, Inc., for a worldwide launch of Princess Connect! Re: Dive on Android and iOS devices with pre-registration opening today.

Originally released in Japan in 2018, Princess Connect! Re: Dive proved popular and was translated into Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Thai, reaching the number one spot in Japanese app stores and near the top of app stores in their respective markets.

Princess Connect! Re: Dive was so well received among fans that Cygames turned it into anime through their Cygames Pictures division, which Crunchyroll shared globally outside of Asia in April of this year. A second season for the series in the works.

“We launched Crunchyroll Games two years ago and the addition of Princess Connect! Re: Dive symbolizes a real evolution for our brand and our portfolio of titles. Our community already loves the anime, and we’re excited to bring this title to anime fans around the world who have been patiently waiting outside of Asia.”

Through beautiful cinematic scenes, players are transported into the world of Astrum where they fight alongside heroines in high powered combat scenarios. Advancing through the story allows each partnered heroine to acquire new strengths and skills and thus in turn revealing hidden content.

Some 50+ voice actors make an appearance in Princess Connect! Re: Dive, including M•A•O (Iris in Fire Forece, Shion in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), Miku Ito (Miku Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, Shimamura in Adachi and Shimamura), and Rika Tachibana (Reiko Arisugawa in Shomin Sample, Lucia in Street Fighter V). Multiple animation studios have participated in producing the beautiful scenes seen in-game, according to the media release provided by Crunchyroll.

“I’m truly delighted that we can finally make this title available to both gaming and anime fans in Western regions, which of course includes fans of Princess Connect! Re: Dive. The game was developed as a fusion of anime and RPG elements, providing users with the innovative experience of ‘playing through an anime.’ We hope that many of you will be able to enjoy this fresh, new experience.”

Yuito Kimura, Executive Director & Producer, Cygames
