This Saturday, June 12th, 2021, marks an incredible milestone for the My Hero Academia anime; it is when the 12th episode of the fifth season scheduled to broadcast, but it is also the 100th episode for the series. To commemorate this occasion, the official Twitter account for the show shared a special image of Izuku “Deku” Midoriya standing in front of a giant golden “100” ringed by a laurel wreath and topped with pro-hero All Might’s face.
The tweet, written in Japanese, announces the airing of the 100th episode on Saturday, June 12th and expresses thanks for the anime’s fans ongoing support since the first episode aired in April 2016. It also says, true to the “plus ultra” motto for U.A. High School, My Hero Academia will continue to “go further”.
