For the first time, international fans can watch live events from Jump Festa 2023 online with English subtitles through YouTube and the Jump Festa web site on Saturday December 17th and Sunday December 18th, 2022 at the Makuhari Messe convention centre in Chiba, Japan.

Jump Festa is a two-day event that celebrates all the manga properties under Japanese publishing giant Shueisha through its many imprints: Weekly Shonen Jump, V Jump, Jump SQ., Saikyo Jump and Jump Giga. This includes popular series like Black Clover, Blue Exorcist, Boruto Naruto Next Generations, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mashle: Magic and Muscles, My Hero Academia, One Piece, Rurouni Kenshin, SPY×FAMILY, and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

First held in 1999, Jump Festa was limited to those living in Japan: unless you lived there, you could only get updates from people reporting on it. When Covid hit, Jump Festa went online, but again, streams were kept within the island nation. With anime and manga more popular than ever, Shueisha has seemingly heard the plea from the global community and is broadcasting parts of the event online for free.

Performances and announcements are scheduled across three stages, most of which will be streamed online through YouTube with subtitles and possibly English audio: Jump Super Stage, Jump Studio NEO and Jump Amusement Island. A partial schedule of the big events are posted below along with embedded video streams. Times are listed in JST and converted into PST and EST for North Americans wishing to watch — keep in mind that Canada and the US are nearly a day behind Japan.
