In celebration of the 28th anniversary of the formation of TWO-MIX, nine studio albums and 17 singles by the Japanese pop-duo are now available for streaming worldwide.
Their music has appeared in a number of anime and television dramas — New Mobile Report Gundam Wing used the songs “Just Communication” and “Rhythm Emotion” during the opening credits, while “White Reflection” and “Last Impression” were chosen as the theme songs for New Mobile Report Gundam W Endless Waltz and New Mobile Report Gundam W Endless Waltz -Special Edition- respectively; the song “Truth～A Great Detective of Love～” appeared as the theme of Detective Conan.
Founded on April 29th, 1995, TWO-MIX is made up of vocalist and composer Minami Takayama and lyricist and composer Shiina Nagano. They settled on the name TWO-MIX from the “…process of mapping a sound source between left and right in stereo.” The duo’s style varies between pop, electronic and dance music.
Their most recently album, “TWO-MIX 25th Anniversary ALL TIME BEST”, a compilation of their greatest hits, was released in 2021.
